Las Vegas to Los Angeles timelapse

In July of last year, I had the misfortune of having to drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles on a Sunday afternoon (read: intense traffic). The trip started in Summerlin and ended in Altadena, with the gratuitous stop at the In-n-Out in Azusa.

This video is the result of a GoPro HD (first generation) recording a still image every 10 seconds. The camera was mounted to the windshield with the suction mount. If I had been thinking about it, I would have sprung for the skeleton housing to make charging from an inverter easier. As it is, the extended battery BacPac barely made it through the trip.

Certainly a change of pace from my motorcycle videos.
